Our students continue to gather data each week on local bird species and their habits. Mr Boller rotates through groups every Tuesday on a village walk where the children listen and identify birds in our area. Our current tally of different species has reached 50 which is amazing for such a small area. The students are able to now identify a bird just from its call without even seeing it. Very clever!
This picture is of our very friendly King Parrot who visits the COLA area of our school on a regular basis. He is very quiet and friendly and just beautiful to look at.
